My initial thoughts on entering sites are "where is the visitors car park"?
The standard site sign for this is as shown here.
Most of the sites I visit are very well signposted and I find it very easy to locate the visitors car park.
What I don't like when entering a site (and this may sound odd coming from a sign company) is signs all over the entrance area. Signs like site maps, PPE signs, warning signs etc, these signs have their place on the site but not as soon as traffic enters the site as the main focus from drivers is "where do I need to get to?"
I believe as human beings we can only focus on one thing at a time and this will be my point as I continue with my blog.
Next week's blog will continue from when I have arrived at the visitors car park.
